Vaccine Schedule

  8 Weeks - Killed Parvo - Echinacea/Goldenseal - 1 Week

10 Weeks - Distemper

11 Weeks - Killed Parvo - Repeat Echinacea/Goldenseal

13 Weeks - Distemper

14 Weeks - Killed Parvo - Repeat Echinacea/Goldenseal

52 Weeks - As Needed+

+Your Great Dane should be vaccinated only on an as needed basis.  Have your veterinarian run "Antibody Titer" tests prior to determining the need to re-vaccinate.

Due to concerns of over-vaccination, the above program has been utilized.

ABSOLUTELY NO combination vaccines should ever be given!!!!!  No 7-in-one, etc.  And no vaccine containing "Lepto" should be given.  Also, do not give the new "Puppy Parvo" shot.  It is too strong. We strongly recommend the use of "Killed Vaccines" this is based upon our concerns with Vaccine Breaks, which appear to be on the rise.

Never give your puppy any vaccine between the ages of 14 weeks and 24 weeks.A serious problem referred to as 'Post-Vaccinational Syndrome' has been described in large breeds.  It has been scientifically demonstrated to be the result of vaccination of puppies between the ages of 16 and 24 weeks of age.

Lyssin 100c, a homeopathic remedy, must be given within 2 hours of receiving a Rabies Vaccine.  We cannot be responsible for seizures or other side effects after a Rabies Vaccine.

If any combination vaccine is given, or any vaccine given during 14 - 24 weeks you will not have the option to return said puppy for any reason whatsoever. No refunds will be given nor will we replace the puppy.  INSIST THAT YOUR VETERINARIAN READ THIS CONTRACT.  Be involved and be responsible.  Stay with your puppy when at the vets office and make sure they understand this contract. Do not allow your veterinarian to vaccinate your puppy if it is not in good health and has a fever.  This can and has  happened resulting in the death of a puppy.  No vaccine should be administered to any animal not in excellent health.  It is dangerous.

If  you or your veterinarian deviate from the above recommended protocol Von Shrado Great Danes cannot guarantee or warrant the health of your puppy.
